Who We Are
Director - Eleisha McNeill
When Eleisha started studying journalism, people working in radio or print used to talk about television scripts being the lowest form of writing – using simple language to make stories accessible to all viewers. As it turns out, writing television scripts for years was an excellent foundation for the rest of her career in communications, editing, content writing, and copy writing.
Eleisha has developed user-friendly content for government departments like business.govt.nz (MBIE), Te Uru Rākau – New Zealand Forest Service (MPI), and not-for-profits like Plunket and IHC. She was recently Principal Communications Advisor at Waka Kotahi (NZTA), tasked with writing a plain English consultation paper on regulatory fees and funding.
She has a Bachelor’s degree in Communications and another in Psychology.
